Expo 2026 ran for three days, from 22 to 24 May. Friday was for people working on business and public policy, while Saturday and Sunday were open to the whole city.
friday, mobility stack.
The afternoon of the 22nd was split into three one-hour parts, with B2B and B2G experts. The first was about decarbonisation, meaning the technologies and supply chains that cut emissions and costs in energy, fleets, logistics and materials. The second was about digital: data, platforms and systems that can talk to each other. The third was about rules, incentives and targets. To finish, there was the live podcast with BodCast, with quick questions to the day's speakers about their choices, mistakes and turning points.
saturday, eco art lab and słøw food.
On Saturday afternoon there was the Eco Art Lab by Seminiamo Arte. Children and adults, split into two big teams, built collective artworks from reclaimed materials, and those artworks then became the clues of a treasure hunt around Pescara. After that came the słøw food lab, a talk and tasting about eating sustainably.
sunday, swap party and moving music.
Sunday morning was the swap party with ToGiftIt: anyone who brought an item in good condition got a token and used it to take something they needed. The afternoon belonged to Moving Music. Emerging artists went on stage, each in an outfit prepared by a fashion designer who works with reuse, and at the end we gave a prize to one artist and one designer.
The official photos and the videos of the three days are on the Expo page.
